A Woman’s Interest Group has been formed to serve as a “friendship group” and to cater to the needs of women in our Association. This Group will organise events and activities (not previously/traditionally offered by the Association) such as seminars, book readings, cookery, fellowship and emotional support. Initially the group will meet every 2 months on Sunday afternoons for participation in activities and afternoon tea, and depending on the level of interest, more frequent meetings may be arranged with a child-minding corner for mothers with young children.
This group is not only for the women members of our Association - our functions are open to non-members and men are also invited to attend. Forthcoming events in 2012
